There were approximately one hundred of you on Saturday 13th October at the participants’ day held at the natural science museum. Thank you to everybody for your enthusiasm!
This day represented an opportunity, for new participants, to collect their connected nesting box and get to know the equipment thanks to the explanations given by the facilitators in the XperiLAB.be science truck.
In the middle of the day, a retrospective on the first two editions of the project was presented in the grand auditorium. For this occasion, Didier Vangeluwe, the ornithologist in charge of analysing the data collected via the XperiBIRD.be network, presented the first scientific results, which will be detailed in a more formal report available in the forthcoming months. In the mean-time, you can see the presentation here.
A short friendly discussion also took place thanks to the support of DITOS. The teachers their families were able to ask all the questions they wanted to and meet other participants whilst enjoying a bowl of soup, before taking a tour of the museum, to which admission was free for the entire day.
Here are some of the photos from this wonderful day. See you next year!
