The visits of birds to the XperiBIRD.be nesting boxes are going well! With the especially mild temperatures of recent days, the first proof of nest building should soon appear. At the PCDN in the town of Saint-Ghislain, much to the surprise of observers, images of a great spotted woodpecker were captured by the camera! Before entering, it enlarged the entrance with its beak. A superb surprise and some great photos!
The nesting box will probably turn out to be to small for it to raise its young, but you never know! This season promises to hold plenty of surprise in store! Stay tuned curious kids!
